| Nassington Pre School

Pre school sessions are held during term time every weekday . Sessions are each morning, except on Tuesdays when it's an afternoon session, in either Nassington or (currently) Woodnewton village halls. Thursday afternoons are available for the children who will be moving up to primary school the following September. The ethos of the school leans strongly towards social & personal development and learning through play. There is emphasis on healthy eating and taking care to stay fit. Preschool works very closely with the school to try to get the children ready for their foundation year at school.

The school has been awarded 'Healthy School' status. At present only 40% of schools in Northamptonshire have achieved this award, which encompasses PSHE, Healthy Eating, Physical activity and Emotional health & wellbeing, including bullying. This is a significant achievement and everyone at the school is very proud.
