ROMAN BRITAIN

A fascinating introduction into the history of Roman Britain through archaeological remains, artefacts and historical sources. We will study the major issues that underpin Roman Britain such as the role the army in the invasion of Britain, the Boudica and Caratacus resistance and the construction of Hadrian's Wall. Other topics include the Flavian expansion and the development of towns and economy.
